PORTLAND, Ore. 07/03/2025 — Curt Pires’ Lost Fantasy series has sold out completely at the distributor level yet again. Image Comics has fast-tracked issue #2 for a reprint in order to keep up with growing interest in this hot new fantasy series.
“I’m ecstatic to be going back to print on Lost Fantasy #2,” said Pires. “To thank our amazing readers and retail partners, we’re delivering another heavily-requested homage for new readers and collectors alike—this time we pay tribute to the amazing PS1 classic: Metal Gear Solid. Team Lost Fantasy is excited and grateful to continue growing this book!”
In Lost Fantasy #2, a new hunter is dispatched to get to the bottom of the killings in Montana. Henry fights for his life. Why is it the ones we love that always hurt us the most?
There is a world of magic, myth, and monsters that exists beneath the surface of our own. Since first contact was made over 100 years ago, The Great Hunters have kept us safe from the creatures that lurk in the shadows. But last night something broke through, and it’s up to rookie monster hunter Henry Blackheart to stop it…
