DC x Sonic the Hedgehog #3 speeds into local comic book shops and online retailers tomorrow, May 21!
Timed to the issue #3 hitting stands and due to overwhelming demand, DC announced the series’ issue #1 will receive a third printing. Featuring an all-new variant cover with Shadow the Hedgehog as Batman, issue #1’s next printing will arrive on shelves June 11.
Drawing critical praise, along with enthusiastic support from DC and Sonic the Hedgehog fans, the series features an original storyline written by Ian Flynn (veteran writer of “Sonic the Hedgehog” comic book series) with art by Adam Bryce Thomas. The series launched in March 2025 and publishes monthly through July 2025.
The storyline features DC’s Justice League and Team Sonic teaming up after DC Super-Villain, Darkseid, crosses dimensions to invade the world of Sonic the Hedgehog and exploit the power of the Chaos Emeralds.
The comic book series is part of a larger, multi-platform and crossover DC x Sonic the Hedgehog partnership between DC and SEGA of America. More offerings including consumer products will launch in Fall 2025.
