LOS ANGELES 04/29/2025 — Skybound Entertainment and Image Comics, in partnership with Universal Products & Experiences, revealed interior pages and the slate of variant covers for Universal Monsters: The Mummy #3, the next chapter of the four-issue limited comic book series from Eisner Award winner and New York Times bestselling comics creator Faith Erin Hicks (Pumpkinheads, The Nameless City Trilogy). The latest installment of Hicks’ stunning new take on The Mummy will hit comic book shops on May 28, 2025.
Superstar writer/artist Faith Erin Hicks teams up with colorist Lee Loughridge (Standstill) and letterer Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou (Red Sonja) to present a new vision of the iconic Universal Monster, bringing The Mummy to life like never before in this limited series.

In addition to the main cover by Faith Erin Hicks, Universal Monsters: The Mummy #3 boasts a variant cover lineup from top artists including Sweeney Boo, Christian Ward, and Joëlle Jones, as well as the third of a four-part connecting cover series by Guillem March.
Universal Monsters: The Mummy is the fourth Universal Monsters series launch, following James Tynion IV and Martin Simmonds’ Dracula (which netted Simmonds a BEST PAINTER/MULTIMEDIA ARTIST (INTERIOR ART) Eisner Award nomination); Ram V, Dan Watters, and Matthew Roberts’ Creature from the Black Lagoon Lives!; and Michael Walsh’s Frankenstein. The Mummy will be followed by additional new limited series pairing the biggest names in comics with pop culture’s most iconic monsters.
