WACO, TX (September 16, 2025) – Today, Magnolia Network announced the premiere of Anything But Gray, a vibrant new design series debuting Saturday, October 18, 2025. Hosted by designer Gray Benko and executive produced by Chip and Joanna Gaines, the six-episode, one-hour series follows Gray as she transforms homes across Charleston, South Carolina, into colorful masterpieces. With the help of her dad, Joe “Grumpy” Highsmith, and her design partner Chelcie Eastman, Gray surprises homeowners with playful, jaw-dropping makeovers that celebrate individuality and joy.
“Gray’s creativity and warmth shine through in every home she touches,” said Allison Page, President Magnolia Network. “She has a gift for bringing out the character of a space in a way that feels both fun and deeply personal. We’re excited for audiences to experience her one-of-a-kind approach to design.”

In Anything But Gray, each episode takes audiences inside a Charleston home ready for a refresh, where Gray’s bold use of color, whimsy, and imaginative design solutions redefine what it means to create a forever home. The series balances heartfelt family moments with surprising transformations, highlighting the joy of design that refuses to blend in.
“Design doesn’t have to be about perfection. It should be fun, soulful, and full of personality,” said Gray Benko. “Working with my dad and Chelcie, we have so much creativity and love for our craft fueling every project, and we love having these opportunities to bring so much life and color into people’s homes. I can’t wait for viewers to see how we turn the unexpected into something truly magical.”
New episodes of Anything But Gray will roll out weekly on Magnolia Network beginning Saturday, October 18 at 1 p.m. ET, and stream the next day on HBO Max and discovery+.
Anything But Gray is produced by Buck Ross and Blind Nil for Magnolia Network.
