NEW YORK (August 22, 2024) – Falling Forward Films announced today that the distributor has acquired U.S. distribution rights to Jack Huston’s love story boxing drama, DAY OF THE FIGHT, which made its world premiere at Venice International Film Festival and screened as the opening night film for London’s Raindance Film Festival in 2023. Written and directed by Jack Huston, DAY OF THE FIGHT is an incredibly powerful and emotionally charged love story featuring delicate performances from stars Michael C. Pitt (Boardwalk Empire, The Dreamers), Nicolette Robinson (Women of the Hour, One Night in Miami), Ron Perlman (Hellboy, Thug), Joe Pesci (Goodfellas, Casino), John Magaro (Past Lives, The Umbrella Academy), Steve Buscemi (Ghost World, The Sopranos, Grown Ups), and Anatol Yusef (The Take, Boardwalk Empire). Falling Forward Films in theaters in NY and LA on November 15, 2024, followed by a nationwide expansion.
DAY OF THE FIGHT follows a once renowned boxer (Michael C. Pitt) as he takes a redemptive journey through his past and present, on the day of his first fight since he left prison.
