When you’ve battled crowds in the Gaslamp and braved the Hall H line, there’s one more essential SDCC stop waiting for you! It’s just minutes away in Balboa Park. The Comic-Con Museum is open all week during Comic-Con and doesn’t require a badge to enter.
Spread across three levels of exclusive exhibits, rare memorabilia, and hands-on fandom activities, this is the off-site destination for fans who want more space to explore—and more time to geek out.

Exhibits You Can’t Miss
Doctor Who: Worlds of Wonder: The U.S. debut of this massive BBC exhibit includes screen-used props, all 17 Doctor costumes, and a life-size Weeping Angel sure to unsettle even the bravest Whovians. Don’t forget to explore the TARDIS Tech Room and Monster Vault.
tokidoki: Twenty Years of Kawaii & Chaos: From Godzilla collabs to Hello Kitty tattoos, tokidoki’s first-ever museum show celebrates two decades of vibrant, genre-blurring design. Giant photo ops and exclusive merchandise await.
Sangre, Sudor y Mito: The Art and Tradition of Mexican Lucha Libre: Created with the Museo de La Lucha Libre Mexicana, this dynamic exhibit showcases authentic masks, match-worn costumes, and the larger-than-life culture of lucha libre.
Growing Up Luann: 40 Years of Comics: Celebrate Greg and Karen Evans’ beloved comic strip with rare originals and curated moments from Luann’s four-decade run.
Star Wars Memorabilia Preview: Echoes from the Galaxy: In partnership with Julien’s Auctions and TCM, this preview includes a screen-used Stormtrooper helmet, a Yoda puppet prototype, and Luke’s production-used lightsaber. Full public auction happens Sunday, July 27 at 10 AM.
Comic-Con Masquerade Costumes Exhibit: See up-close some of the winning cosplay from Comic-Con’s signature event, from Ivy to Strange.
