Todd McFarlane is back at San Diego Comic-Con with a power-packed two-day appearance featuring panels, signings, new comics, collectibles, and major announcements for both McFarlane Toys and the ever-expanding Spawn Universe.
Appearing only on Friday and Saturday, McFarlane’s SDCC 2025 presence includes highly anticipated panels, signing sessions with top talent, and an in-depth exploration of the Spawn 50/50/50 program. An anniversary celebration across three milestone comics.
Whether you’re a longtime Spawn fan, a toy collector, or curious about the future of creator-owned comics, McFarlane’s events promise insider access, exclusive merch, and plenty of surprises.

Todd McFarlane In Conversation: Spawn, Image Comics & More

Todd dives into the creative legacy of Spawn, updates on his latest titles, and what’s ahead for the McFarlane empire.

McFarlane will sign select items at both the Image booth (#1915) and the Sails Pavilion. Signings require wristbands, with specific distribution rules depending on location.

SPAWN UNIVERSE EVENTS & EXCLUSIVES
Expect signings all weekend from the creative teams behind upcoming titles like Deadly Tales of The Gunslinger, Bloodletter, and The Curse of Sherlee Johnson. Look out for appearances from writers and artists including Jimmy Palmiotti, Tim Seeley, Gail Simone, and many more.
McFarlane Productions will also debut SDCC-exclusive comics, including:
- Spawn #365 featuring never-before-seen inks by Todd McFarlane
- Three connecting covers for Gunslinger #15, King Spawn #2, and The Scorched #24
- Featuring key Spawn Universe moments like the debut of Focus, the return of Billy Kincaid, and the first appearance of Viscerator
Signed and unsigned versions will be available at Booth #1915 starting Thursday, July 24.
