We are so happy to announce that Geek Therapy, in collaboration with The Bodhana Group, is hosting the first-ever professional conference for the use of Geek and Gaming culture in therapeutic and educational work.Â
We’ve been hinting at a Geek Therapy conference for a while now and it’s finally happening, but TAGGS is bigger and better than what we originally planned because Geek Therapy is only one small part of the world of therapeutic and applied Geek and Gaming culture. So coming together with another organization to create a stage for all of our colleagues is incredibly exciting.
This feels like a huge milestone for our field and we can’t wait to see what new connections and collaborations come from it.
The Therapeutic + Applied Geek + Gaming Summit (TAGGS) is happening on the weekend of April 9-11, 2021. It will be three full days of professional workshops, panels, discussion groups, networking, and gaming. It will be entirely online and we already have presenters and attendees signed up from around the world.Â
You can learn more about TAGGS at https://taggsummit.org. Tickets are available now, including discounts for students. For updates, join the TAGGS mailing list or follow TAGGS on Twitter and Facebook.
We hope to see you at TAGGS!
