Bixby Grant, Private Eye: Fangs & Brimstone #2

Tension is high in Harbor City: Four volunteers from the corrupt Mayor’s re-election campaign have been found dead, killed in elaborate cult ceremonies. The Mayor and his supporters blame the supernatural citizens of Harbor City for the killings, making every monster in city limits a suspect – including our heroes, Bixby Grant and Diego the rockabilly vampire! Bix dodges the cops, seeks help from old friends, and shakes down a cat burglar to try and solve this case before another body turns up. But will Bix’s personal history with the murder weapon cause him to push things too far, igniting the powder keg that is Harbor City?

Zombietown

To investigate her father’s last known whereabouts, Detective Maritza Ramirez plans to sneak into Zombietown: five square blocks of Harbor City inhabited by thousands of the undead! Once in, she’ll snoop around the only place she thinks her father could have gone – the old headquarters of Il Cosa Muerte, the zombie mafia! But to reach that building and avoid the walking dead, Maritza will face the horrors that lurk in the dark tunnels of Harbor City’s sewer!

“The support from fans has been astounding for our first OGN, Wolf, She Cried, and for the first issue of Fangs & Brimstone — so I’m amped to get the next chapter of our new mystery into people’s hands,” said Patrick Coyle. “My dream team of collaborators — Gonzalo Martinez, Gonzalo Ruggieri, Arthur Hesli, and Heather Antos, continue to deliver amazing work, and this time around we’re joined by the amazing Dean Kotz and Megan Huang. I feel like we’re firing on all cylinders!”

Patrick Coyle co-founded the independent comic publisher Komikwerks with Shannon Eric Denton, one of the first online comic publishers. He published several print anthologies, which included comics from Eisner-Award winner Keith Giffen, as well as Dwayne McDuffie, Ernie ColonEric Canete, and hundreds more. The first Bixby Grant graphic novel, Wolf, She Cried, debuted on Kickstarter in October of 2022 to great success, fully funded in 12 hours and reaching 257% of the desired backing.

For horror readers who like their stories without gore, don’t miss Bixby Grant, Private Eye: Fangs & Brimstone #2. The campaign ends Oct. 17th.
