Fresh from his most recent stand-up special ‘Armageddon’ winning a Golden Globe, hitting Number 1 on Netflix and claiming the world record for the highest grossing comedy gig of all time, Ricky Gervais has today announced the title of his next world tour and Netflix special: ‘MORTALITY‘.
Official ‘Ricky Gervais: Mortality‘ dates will be announced at a later stage, with the tour due to kick off later this year and run till the end of 2025, taking in all of Gervais’s favourite arenas around the world. It will once again be filmed for Netflix.
On the theme of the new show, Gervais said, “We’re all gonna die. May as well have a laugh about it. Mortality looks at the absurdities of life. And death. Bring it on.”
