Dan Levy Announces Relaunch of Unisex Sun & Optical Eyewear Line “D.L. Eyewear”

LOS ANGELES, CA (July 24, 2020) – Dan Levy, co-creator and star of Schitt’s Creek, announced today the relaunch of his unisex sun and optical eyewear line, D.L. Eyewear, available exclusively at thisisdl.com on August 9. The relaunch collection will include a thoughtfully edited grouping of 23 fashionable and versatile gender-fluid frames. Rather than adhering to a seasonal schedule, additional frames will be released when they are ready.

Nearly ten years ago, D.L. Eyewear was formed when Levy noticed a gap in the market that he knew he could fill: the need for quality, fashionable glasses at an inclusive price point. D.L. Eyewear has remained a brand committed to making classic, high quality frames that are accessible to everyone, proving that affordable does not always mean inferior.

To celebrate the relaunch, D.L. Eyewear is pleased to support Local Initiatives Support Corporation and its efforts to help small businesses negatively impacted by COVID-19. “I’m so thrilled to be relaunching and to be supporting LISC in the process,” said Levy. “Even though D.L. Eyewear is a small business, I wanted to support other small businesses as we grow – particularly those owned by women, people of color, members of the LGBTQIA+ community, and those in historically disadvantaged communities – in the hopes that we can all grow together. With this relaunch, considerable care has gone into every element of these new frames to make them special yet accessible, and I couldn’t be more excited to get them out into the world and give back in the process.”

D. L. Eyewear will be available for purchase on August 9, 2020 at thisisdl.com. The relaunch collection includes timeless styles at an affordable price of $135 per frame.
