FASHION SHOW DESIGNERS NAMED FOR ANIME EXPO 2019

The Anime Expo 2019 Fashion Show is delighted to welcome Japanese brands h. NAOTO with designer Hirooka Naoto, Acryl CANDY with guest model Haruka Kurebayashi, amnesiA&paramnesiA with guest model Yo from Matenrou Opera, and Metamorphose with designer Chinatsu Taira. In addition, Hot Topic will reveal a new collection, and HYPLAND will debut new items from their BLEACH collaboration.

Michelle Nguyen Bradley will also join the Fashion Show as the MC.

Attendees can shop the brands’ looks in The Annex @ Kentia Hall over the weekend. h.NAOTO will have a special pre-order event at their booth, where AX attendees can pre-order a custom, one-of-a-kind h.NAOTO piece for the first time outside of Japan.

Celebrating its 28th year, Anime Expo (AX) is North America’s largest Japanese cultural event. From previewing the newest anime TV shows and film productions, tabletop and video gaming to cosplay, cutting-edge fashion, and live concerts, AX offers fans an authentic, unique, and deeply immersive experience in all things anime. Presented by the non-profit organization, the Society for the Promotion of Japanese Animation (SPJA), AX attracts more than 100,000 people (more than 350,000 turnstiles for all show days) from diverse backgrounds and all ages from throughout the United States and 70 countries around the world. It is estimated to have a $100 million economic impact on the City of Los Angeles.

AX delivers 500+ exhibitors, 20 World and US premieres, and 900+ hours of programming. 100 Guests of Honor and prominent Anime film and television stars, producers and directors, famous musicians, and fashion and gaming personalities attend the show.

Held July 4-7, 2018 (Pre-Show night July 3) at the Los Angeles Convention Center, each day there will be Anime film and television previews, gaming, Artist Alley, exhibits from Anime production companies, manga comic companies, fashion shows, licensed goods, cosplay, musical performances, and much much more. Special programming tracks include Culture Day, Career Day, and Academic Program.  Family Day, Sunday, July 7, will feature a selection of programming specifically targeted toward young children and their families to provide content they can enjoy together.  Check out http://www.anime-expo.org/ for more details.
