July 25, 2024, METAX-FZCO (CEO: Takashi Murakoshi, Headquarters: Dubai, UAE), the operator of the Web3 project Dark Machine, will hold an anime production announcement event at Comic-Con International: San Diego 2024 in San Diego, USA. The panel is entitled “Dark Machine: The Game and Anime” and will be held in Room 5AB at the San Diego Convention Center.
Murakoshi of METAX stated, “The anime adaptation of Dark Machine is a pivotal moment for us. This project is based on our passion for exploring the new frontier of merging gaming with web3, and we are delighted to deliver this new story to our fans in the new form of anime.” He continued, “Dark Machine will continue to expand as a cross-media project, aiming to convey its charm to an even broader audience. Please look forward to it.”
For the anime adaptation, Dark Machine has enlisted Goro Taniguchi, known for directing works such as “One Piece Film Red” and “Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion,” as the creative producer, and Hidetaka Tenjin, renowned for his work as a mechanical artist in the “Macross” series, as the lead mechanical designer.
Taniguchi commented, “There is no end in the expression of anime. It must constantly seek new things and evolve. I am honored to have the opportunity to merge the potential of gaming with the narrative power of anime as the creative producer for Dark Machine. We are challengers. We aim to bring the efforts of all the staff involved in this project, striving towards the future, to our audience.” He added, “We hope fans will thoroughly enjoy the world of Dark Machine.”
“I am very pleased to be part of this project as a mechanical designer. We have meticulously paid attention to detail in the mechanical design, pursuing both realism and impact.” said Tenjin. He continued, “We hope viewers will immerse themselves in the world of Dark Machine through the intricate designs and dynamic movements.”
Further information on the game and anime will be periodically released on the official X of Dark Machine.
